我孩子讀大學F1簽證今年5月18日到期，但是護照上麵的visa戳是寫7/18到期，他是加拿大籍。(他沒有找工作，想在美國先練球然後轉職業)。請問他需要馬上離境還是可以等到7/18日前離境？可以人呆在在美國境內，轉成B1簽證嗎？非常感謝！
-The expiration date of the visa stamp on the passport is irrelevant to his legal stay in US. Your kid has the F-1 grace period of 60 days from the day he graduated or from the day his I-20 expired, whichever was first. He can legally stay in US or change his status to B2 status or other non-immigrant status during the F-1 grace period. He may ask the International Student Office if he has a question about his F-1 grace period.
