我父親突然過世， 我想幫媽媽移民來我這，可以照顧她， 不知道是她在國內我們開始申請好，還是媽先來美國再轉身份好？ 

-If possible, she may come to US and then, apply for the green card.

 我們需要請律師幫忙嗎？ 還是自己可以搞定？

-It is simple process and you may just do it by yourself. Just follow the I-130 and I-485 instructions to do it. You also can Google to find some related information using key words: 父母移民.
