非常感謝8老師， 現在有點清楚一些這些後續過程了。

再請問如果選follow to join, 是指現在就徹底不開始申請過程等到以後ready再開始， 還是指同樣開始申請過程， 同樣一起移民麵試，隻是不會一起來美國？

-It takes much longer time if the child chooses following to join. After the father comes to US using the immigrant visa, the father needs to file I-864 for the child to do following to join, similar to your file I-130 for your brother to immigrate to US. But the child does not need to wait for 排期。

follow to join也需要有監護權嗎？

-Yes, the requirments are the same as "Accompany".

 因為有可能孩子的媽媽不肯把監護權轉給我弟弟， 不知道應該怎麽辦?選哪一個對小孩子比較好? 畢竟希望孩子能盡快來美國，正好開始上小學，可以盡早適應。

另外8老師提及孩子的媽媽要給一封信她同意孩子與父親一起移民美國, 請問即使有監護權公證了, 這封孩子媽媽的信也是required的嗎？

-Yes.

這封信是否也得到公證處翻譯並公證？

-The letter must be translated into English following the USCIS's translation requirement, not have to do 公證. But you had better do the 公證 because the 公證 agency know how to translate it to meet the USCIS requirement.
