請問群裏的老師，孩子有綠卡，準備去德國上大學。這種情況受不受離美不超過六個月的限製？如果受限製，需要辦回美證嗎？

-Yes, your child needs to apply for reentry permit to travel, which allows him/her stay abroad for > one year < two years. He/she can come back to US to renew the reentry permit before it expires.
