8老師，您好。太太公民，找律師辦理先生婚姻綠卡。今天收到移民局回信，因申請費不對而被退回。打電話給律師，她說等資料全部退回後再遞交一次就好了，很正常的。我們12月按照律師說的最新的收費，她說她也不知道具體，讓我們支付一張3千元的給移民局，多退少補。我們問：“現在被退回，是否代表我們全部需要重新申請？這樣浪費了之間的時間。她說：“不會，因為我們有案件號，重新遞交直接進入下一流程。”請問8老師是這樣嗎？

-The lawyer is right. Just issue the new checks with the correct fees, and send all of the orignial documents back to USCIS (not need to prepare the documents all over again). Enclose the USCIS Rejection Notice (put it on the top of the files).

另外，現在申請費應該是多少，

-Issue two checks: one of $535 for I-130 filing; another of $1,225 (i.e. I-485 filing fee of $1,140 + biometrics fee of $85)
