-You can conduct the physical exam in any states within US as long as the doctor is authorized by USCIS. But you need to update your address so that USCIS can send the letter to your new address. File AR-11 online for resident address change and also for I-485 case address change. Then, call USCIS a few days later to make sure your address has been updated in the system for your I-485.
