How long have you gotten US GC, if over 3 years now and you have been staying in US all those 3 years, it is not difficult to pass the residency test and get US citizenship in 2 to 3 years. You can spend most time in Canada for the next two years and still can natualize to be US citizen. Then you can live in Canada forever and still keep US citizenship.
