The officer wont ask many questions if he/she has no doubt about your case. Sometimes, 5 minutes is all it is going to take. I went through my own case, and i went for a friend's case as a translator. Either case, no more than 10 minutes.

In my case, the officer told us that the application is approved pending on FBI background check. After 4 weeks, we received the letter.
