請問公民的父母可否簽證逾期滯留在美國？

我的公民還沒拿到，如果在公民拿到前的一段時間已經超過了過海關時給的期限，可以嗎？會影響接下來的綠卡申請嗎？

-It will not affect their green card application and approval after you become a US citizen to sponsor them, but they cannot travel out of US before they get the green card.
