請教一下，我現在是H4簽證，有EAD和AP，先生的140也已經批準了，我們在等I485，現在等的時間很長。
如果我現在回國探親，我應該帶哪個I797回去？
因為我以前申請過給H4的EAD，但我並沒有去工作，我也忘了，回國時就帶的申請EAD時拿到的I797，回來時，我仍舊申請H4, 簽證官說發現我有兩個有效的I797，然後給了我H4, 還特地跟我說H4不能工作，我還覺得挺奇怪為什麽跟我這麽說，現在我意識到，是不是他給我H4 I797就是不能工作的，如果我要工作，就要再去申請EAD, 拿相應的I797, 就好像我重新拿H4, 就讓以前的那個I 797失效了，所以我不知道我應該怎麽做，我不希望EAD失效，但也不希望H4身份失效。
-If you want to apply for the H-4 visa in the US Consulate in China and use the H-4 visa to come back, then you need to bring the copy of your spouse's H-1 approval notice. The H-4 approval notice is useless if you leave US. Of course, you also can use AP to come back and thus, you don't need to waste your time and money to apply for the H-4 visa. You can use the I-485 based EAD to work if you want to.
As long as your spouse keep the H-1 status valid, you can get the H-4 status back if your I-485 is denied. So, I would suggest you to use AP to travel.
