我的H4 EAD已經過期了，新的EAD 已經遞交了近3個月，目前還沒有消息，現在拿到一個工作 offer, 公司的HR 說他們run了 I -9 form, 我現在可以工作。請問8老師,有沒有這種情況？公司希望我下周就可以上班，我可以谘詢什麽機構可以確認我現在上班是合法的呢？
-Technically, you cannot work until you receive your new approved EAD. But if your company agree, they may hold your salary until you get the EAD, and then pay you back as overload (of course, this is not allowed by law, but USCIS may not find this trick).
