我持綠卡被派回國內工作，已經兩年，辦了回美證(permit to re-entry) ,  但是每次入境美國都隻用綠卡，從來沒用過回美證。雖然大部分時間在中國，但回美國很頻繁，每兩個月左右就回美國一次出差或者探親，每次在美國一到兩個星期。家人孩子房子報稅等都還在美國維持正常。

 

現在的回美證已經兩年到期了。預期在中國那邊最多再工作五六個月（中間也會頻繁回美國的）就回美國了。有點懶得再辦回美證延期了。

 

請教，我這種情況辦回美證延期是否有必要呢？謝謝!
-I don't think you need to renew it if you only will work in China for about 6 months. Bring the letter from your employer to prove that you are sent to work in China for the company and also the expired reentry permit, just in case you need to explain it to the IO. BUt you cannot stay in China for > one year continuously.
