-Yes, you can travel using the green card with the extension sticker if you will return to US before the expiration date on the sticker. But if you plan to stay in China for longer time and return after the sticker expires, then you need to bring your passport and the I-90 filing receipt notice to the local USCIS Office to get the I-551 stamp on your passport.
