尊敬的8老師，

我是公民，給父母申請綠卡。在填I-864表時有這些問題。以下問題以給我母親的申請為例：

Part 3：Information about the immigrants you are sponsoring

• 問題1：“I am sponsoring the principal immigant in Part 2”選“Yes“？
• -Correct.
•  
• 問題2-27：不用回答？-Correct.
• 問題28“Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this affidavit of suport：寫“1”？-Right.

Part 5: Sponsor's household size

我家有我和我老公，一個小孩子，還有我父母跟我們住在一起。這樣填對嗎？
-No. You need to put "1" in item #6, i.e. your father or mother needs to be counted into your household size though either one of them not got green card yet. Thus, your total household size is 5. By the way, you need to file two I-864 and your spouse file two I-864A, respectively, for your father and mother. Do the same way in another I-864 for your father or mother.

Part 6: Sponsor's employment and income

我和我老公都是self employed，一起報1040. 因為1040稅表上顯示的是共通收入，我就想我當主要擔保人, 他當家庭成員擔保人。

• 問題19 a-c：填共同收入可以嗎？
• -Yes if your spouse will file I-864A.
•  
• 還是必須是我個人的收入，盡管我個人的收入也夠了。-No.
• 同樣的在我老公填的I-864A表裏，part4 問題2a-c: 也填共同收入可以嗎？-No.
• 還是必須是我老公個人的收入？-Yes.
