請教8老師和皮老師：

父母現在62歲，在國內有醫療保險和養老，但是非常想念兒孫，想辦綠卡。我的問題是：

（1） 他們拿到綠卡後在美國如何買醫療保險？怎麽樣的保險比較靠譜？
-I am not familiar with this issue. The principle is that they cannot use the social benefits of US because they did not work in US before (e.g. not work for at least 10 years in US).

（2） 我聽有的人說，如果給父母辦工卡，他們就可以買醫療保險。他們要怎麽樣才能辦工卡呢？
-Normally the insurance company may ask them to provide the SSN. So, if they want to get the SSN before they get green card, then when they file I-485, they can file I-765 to get the EAD, then use EAD to apply for SSN and use their SSN to apply for health insurance.

是不是一定要在美國找到工作？
-No.
