請教8老師,綠卡過期

我綠卡今年6月過期, 我已經在境外呆了7年,從沒回過美,. 請問我如果再次入境是否必須放棄綠卡? 我能否用澳洲護照入境(六月份有個會議需參加.)? 謝謝!
