-No. After your I-1539 application for change of status was approved, your old status was void, but you can file I-539 to change F-1/F-2 to another status (if qualifed) before your school cancel your SEVIS ID. So, talk to your school. Another choice is to go to China to get the F-1/F-2 visa to come back to enroll for another semester (e.g. summer or fall semester). Discuss it with your school. If your school has cancelled your SEVIS at this point, then you have to leave US now.
