我提交親屬移民的文件裏有國內法院簽發的離婚“民事調解書" (Letter of Civil mediation), 落款是某市人民法院和法官的名字(The People's Court of XXX city, Judge: XXX)，有英文翻譯和國內公證處的公證。

今天收到信要求補材料，說是這個民事調解書 "the letter of civil mediation of divorce dispute is not sufficient for immigration purpose because it was not issued by the appropriate civil authorities.

Submit a legible copy of the final divorce decree signed by a judge or magistrate that shows proof of filing, or the death certificate issued by the civil authorities, that terminated the prior marriage."

國內在法院的調解下離婚的就是發這個文件啊，也有法官和法院的落款。請問該怎麽辦？謝謝！

-The IO does not understand the Chinese Marriage Law about the divorce regualtion. You may ask the judge to give you a letter addressing that the 離婚民事調解書 has the same function as the Divorce Certificate issued by Court. If you can not get the letter from the judge and you also have no any solution, you may just print out the Chinese marriage Law (English version) at this website, and provide it (highlight the related section of Chapter IV Divorce) with the explanation of your letter:
