事情大概是這樣的：父母綠卡申請獲得批準，來美國住了幾個月。等綠卡寄到家。隨後因看病需要，回中國。此時綠卡尚未寄到。但辦了回美證（兩年有效）。

他們在中國，我在美國，繼續等他們的綠卡寄到。等很久最終確認綠卡寄丟。申請補辦。補辦一定要重新在美國打指紋。

問題是：沒有有效綠卡無法回美國打指紋，沒有指紋無法補辦有效綠卡。。。catch 22.

 

請問

1） 沒有綠卡隻有護照和回美證，能否入境美國？

-I think so.

如果不能，需要什麽手續？

-No. Just tell the IO at the port of entry, the green card was lost if asked, and say they will file I-90 to get the repalcement after entering US.

如何破解？

 

2） 能否在中國辦指紋？需要什麽手續？

-I-90 has to be filed within US.
