H-1B submission?

My friend is anxious about her H-1b application,
please tell us something if you have the similar
experience or any suggestion, thank you in advance!

The lawyer told her her H-1b application was submitted
on Sept. 20 in CA. After that, the lawyer said he did
not get any news about H-1b application.
So She urgently wonder
1. when such application was submitted, the lawyer would
get the receipt?
2. She payed the accelaration fee for application, normally
how long she would get reply?
3. Is there any other ways to check the state of her application?
