F1 student re enter US using new I 20

朋友的孩子去年夏天以學生的身分來讀書，現在回國休假，剛剛收到另外一個好的大學的通知書，他準備去，那麽他重新入境的時候，是用原來的i20表格還是用新的？還是用舊的，然後transfer between schools?
