多謝您指教，我父母綠卡辦得非常順利。他們過幾天要來美國住幾天。這是他們的移民簽證獲批準之後第一次入境。媽媽問我入境的時候有什麽要注意的。 我真的不知道啊。我去social security office 問過了。他們說爸媽入境後3周內SSN 卡片會寄到家。綠卡的事情他們不知道。
我現在知道的就是廣州簽證處給了他們倆袋子資料。他們也沒弄懂這是幹什麽的。我已經囑咐他們一定要帶著了。
想請教您，他們過海關的時候有什麽需要準備的嗎？
-Nothing special, but they can not open the sealed envelop the visa officer gave to them! They need to provide that sealed envelop to the CBP officer at the port of entry when they enter US.
綠卡是當時得還是以後郵寄到家裏？
-Have you paid the immigant fee yet? If yes, then the green card will be mailed to them (your home address in US) after they enter US in about one month. If not yet, you had better pay the fee now, and send the receipt to your parents, and they can provide the receipt to the CBP officer when they enter US.
