這樣換b1/b2可行嗎？

以前好像聽人說，h1b失業後如果不能馬上找到工作，又不能去上學，可以轉成b1/b2，以爭取點時間。請問這樣可行嗎？ 最多能爭取到多少時間呢？ 多謝。
