那麽就不能用Joint Return 作為一個“document that may evidence the bona fides of your Marriage”?
-B-2 holder is not qualified for SSN, and your marriage does not work for SSN automatically in this case. Also, based on my understanding, unless your marriage has been > 180 days, your spouse can not list your name as the dependent for tax deduction. If your marriage has been > 180 days, you may apply for Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TIN) for the tax return filing. You can consult SSA Office for SSN application, and IRS Office for tax return filing.
