上個月我父母在廣州領到了綠卡簽證IR5，有效期到明年四月13號。目前他們計劃明年三月中旬到美國來。
我朋友推薦了一個很好的遊輪，中間要在巴哈馬停靠兩次。因為巴哈馬是個獨立國家，不知道在有了IR5簽證又沒有領到正式綠卡的情況下可不可以去呢？坐遊輪算不算出國呢？
-Do you mean they will travel out of US after they enter US using the IR5 visa? If so, of course yes they can. They immigrant visa will be endorsed (i.e. stampped) by the CBP officer at the port of entry when they enter US, and thus this endorsed immigrant visa stamp is equal to the temporary green card (one year term), so they can travel internationally with it before they get the plastic card.
