The employment verification letter needs to address your current job title, salary and duties. It also needs to address that you will work for the position indicated in the PERM/I-140: e.g. "Th position, terms and conditions described in the Labor Certification for the I-140 immigration visa will be still available to Mr. XXX after his adjustment of status to the permanent resident.".
