8老師您好，

我之前以J1 scholar來美，J1 waiver 後轉為F1讀博, 現在是OPT的博後身份在政府的研究機構工作，11月OPT即將過期。現在研究中心可以SPONSOR我J1繼續現在的項目研究。我在境內轉還是回國轉J1好？我之前的J1經曆會影響新的J1申請嗎？

-Yes. Because you have got J-1 waiver, nomrally you are not qualified for getting J-1 status again. You may seek H-1 status. If the employer does not sponsor your H-1, then you may seek O-1 status to work if your professional qualification is good.
