請問8老師，申請美國公民背景調查

請問8老師，我是綠卡持有者，在申請美國公民，申請材料遞交上去後已經半年了。

最近請州議員查詢後得到以下回複：

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter.  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that your constituent’s case is pending background check clearance. 

 

請問8老師是否知道一般來說，背景調查需要多長時間？我在北卡州。非常感謝！
