去年底回國做一個項目。今年2月中回來呆了兩周有去，呆了5個半月（170天）。這回回來波士頓入關時就被叫到小黑屋盤問。問我為啥回去那麽久。我 說工作兼照顧父母。問我在美國有啥，我說老婆，孩子，房子，車子，等等。那個officer就說我的America tie很thin，在這麽幹就要去見judge。同時建議我去搞一個reentry permit。
我說我在美國十幾年了。綠卡也 拿了近10年。這十幾年我幾乎都沒離開過美國，怎麽就說我有放棄綠卡的嫌疑呢？他說你google一下就都明白了，reentry permit也好拿。他沒有給我任何written notice，護照上除了蓋了個普通的入境章也沒別的記號，不知道他是正式警告還是提醒建議我一下。
有沒有人有類似經驗，好的建議？另外我這次呆的時間也不會太久，估計趕不上reentry permit的biometrics。
