5月初失業後一直努力找工作。今天就將得到一個credit risk modeling offer了，但我的EB1A律師說"this position is not in the same or similar field as that which was listed as the basis for your I-140."
律師沒有給理由。但我想理由很簡單。雖然EB1A申請時的job title和職業code都是statistician，而且Petition letter裏明確並正式申請的專長是psychometrics，但petition letter和所有推薦信都側重提醒和強調了我因作為statistician而coauthor的drug abuse，psychology和public health的文章在這些鄰域的引用和創新。所以律師可能認為移民局會因此斷定the field which was listed as the basis for your I-140 is drug abuse，psychology和public health。畢竟這些鄰域是我所有引用的主要來源。 如果從這個角度說，this credit risk modeling position盡管可以看成是一個statistics job， 但確實與the field which was listed as the basis for your I-140 such as drug abuse，psychology和public health這些鄰域不沾邊。
我覺得以上就是律師的理由，確實有它的道理。 但不知道在實際上是不是都是這樣操作的。不知道用這個credit risk modeling job回複RFE會給485帶來多大的risk呢？如果叫公司把title: credit risk modeling 改成statistician，會不會大大減低risk呢？

現在都不知道該不該接這個offer。接吧，萬一被移民局認為不一致，浪費了大量找更符合要求的工作的時間。不接吧，萬一移民局根本就不像律師那麽想，隻要職業code相同即可，那放棄這個offer就太可惜了。
