移民局最近通知我們，我和我先生的綠卡已被批準，綠卡應在三周內寄來。

由於我母親生病住院，我已於三天前回到中國照顧母親。我現在的AP卡將於本月28日失效。在這種情況下，我是否必須在AP失效之前回到美國？可不可以我留在中國，等我先生回國時把我的綠卡帶回給我？這樣符合規定嗎？會不會引起什麽麻煩？
-You may just bring your passport and the I-485 approval notice to the local USCIS to get the green card stamp (I-551 stamp) on your passport and then, use this stamp for travel.
