China: Generally available, reliable. Persons should apply for a certificate of no criminal
record at the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) (or certain types of employers such as
state owned enterprises), then make application to the notary office for a certificate based
on the PSB document. Persons without a criminal record will be able to obtain a
certificate to that effect.
這兩個材料有什麽不同嗎？
-Same thing. Just send the photocopy of this document again by both email and mail.

2。我母親已去世，父親沒有再婚，我以為不需要母親的死亡證明了，所以上次沒送此材料，現在有REQUEST FOR：
______6 - MARRIAGE TERMINATION:____________________________________
Applicants who have been previously married must obtain evidence of the termination of EACH prior
marriage. Evidence must be in the form of photocopies of the original documents issued by a competent
authority, or copies of the certified documents bearing the appropriate seal or stamp of the issuing
authority, such as:
- If the marriage ends by divorce, the divorce decree that is submitted must be a FINAL divorce decree
- Death certificate
- Annulment papers
我有醫院開的母親的死亡證明（中文），還需要翻譯成英文嗎？
-Yes, it must be translated into English.
這個英文翻譯需要在國內做公證嗎？
如果我自己有能力翻譯，自己翻譯好，然後拿到美國這邊的notary蓋章行嗎？
-You had better ask a friend to translate it for you, then your friend just goes to the Notary Public (e.g. bank) to notarize his/her signature. Your friend also needs to write a statement addressing that he/she knows both English and Chinese very well, and thus he/she is competent to be the translator, and the translation is accurate to the original Chinese version.
