It is currently taking 6-8 weeks for FBI to process fingerprints, so it is normal if you are still waiting.

I mailed out my fingerprint card out on Oct. 1 and got the returned receipt on Oct. 5. Today I got the cards back. However, I did contact them on 15th and told them about my situation (same as yours) after I had figured out that the money order sent to them wasn't cashed out yet. My case wasn't in their system yet when I contacted them, but I received their response the same day that they will specially handle it and will get it processed on either 16th or 17th.

Check with the FBI the status of your case.If it is being processed and it's been over 2 weeks since the case was put in the system(I was told by the FBI that the case takes 2-3 weeks to process after it is put in the system), you will get it soon. Otherwise, tell them your situation and they will help you out. Their customer service is very good.
