1. Go back to china before I-94 expires. B2 visas of multiple-entry type wth 6 months validity doesn't mean your parents can stay for 6 months, 6 months stamp on I-94 is the valid period you parents can stay. Don't extend the B2 if your parents don't wanna take risk of B2 visa refusal next time.
2. It depends on luck, depends if immigration officer can issue 6 months, 5 months or less on I-94 when they go through customs. But certainly they can go through it.
