我查看了移民局網站，發現這樣一段話：

A general guide used is whether you have been absent from the United States for more than a year.

諸位看官，我辛辛苦苦給父母辦了移民，事到臨頭，人家又猶豫要不要來美國了，我都要被氣死了。他們讓我查查，對綠卡的有效啊，或者發生了什麽就會被取消啊是怎麽規定的。
看了上邊這段話，可不可以這麽理解：假如他們在拿到綠卡後就回國，然後每10個月來美國一次，應該是沒問題的？
-Yes, but they can not go back and forth too often, otherwise the CBP officer at the port of entry may give them trouble. The green card is for them to live in US permanently, not for use as the border-crossing card. They may apply for reentry permit which allows them to stay in China for > one year < two years.

more than a year ---應當指的是一次， 而不是累計的吧？
