1. some recommendation letter should mention your prize and give some brief discription.
2 you also need explain your prize to INS in your cover letter.
3. if you have proof such as newspaper report about your prize (usually has some numbers about applictions and winner numbers etc.), you need add those numbers into your discription and let INS have some idea about your prize.
