我是學校的postdoc,老板突然通知沒錢了，學校秘書說會給我多發一個月工資，現在我已經在新的地方開始工作， 聯係前老板秘書關於一個月工資的事情，被告知因為 H1B的原因不能給我發這個工資。這樣合理嗎？ 有沒有可能為自己爭取到應得的利益，非常感謝
-H-1 holder has the same right for the benefits as the other employees such as US citizen and green card holder. So, if this benefit policy applies to all the other employees who are or will be laid off, it also applies to you and of course, you have the right to claim it. So, talk to Human Resources, and they can not discriminate an H-1 holder like you (this is violation of the law).
