求教：用奧巴馬care給老人新移民買醫保

在賓州，父母分別65和72，在等綠卡。做醫保功課的時候看到奧巴馬care官網這段話

這裏所謂的public charge就是means-tested benefits吧。就是說通過奧巴馬care花錢可以給父母買醫保？我查了一下，兩人一個月一共800-2000，而且是這裏最大的醫保公司，我覺得要是可以買到的話還是很不錯的。雖然必須一年一年的買，但是每個月2000要是能買到家人團聚和解決醫療的後顧之憂，還是很值得的。就是不知道我理解的對不對。

還有，因為我覺得在填寫家庭收入的時候，其實應該是把我們的收入都算進去的，所以才會這麽貴，不知道是不是應該這樣做。如果按他們國內退休金來算，Premium就是0，那不就成了Mediaid一類的東西了麽。

Lawfully present immigrants can apply for health coverage.
