My status? H1B or F2

I need help. In Feb 2003, My wife filed F2 for me. The receipt date is Feb 15, 2003. But later , I found a job and I filed a premium H1B application. The receipt date is April 17, 2003. It did get approved. The notified date is April 22, 2003 and the valid date is 05/05/2003. After I got H1B approval notice, I wrote three letters to INS to cancel my F2 application. No one answered me. Just Yesterday, surprised me. I got a F2 approval notice after 1.5 years. The F2 notified date is 10/29/2004 and the valid date is 05/07/2003. What should I do now? What status am I? Please suggest! Thanks a lot.
