Like other Chinese eb2ers, I work for my employer for 10 years under H1b. Instead of living in US. I work in US and drive back to Canada every night. In green card application, since our home address is Canada, so by default, it is CP processing.
I have several coworkers in the same circumstance and got their green cards right after interview. I am the only one pulled in the CP processing.
I can still commute under h1b but worry about the delay time of Administrative Processing.
-You may just wait for a couple of months to see what happen, and if it remains the same, you may ask the US Senator or Congressman in your state for
help.
If we move to US, will it be faster or will cause more problems?
-Hard to say it will be faster or not. If you file I-485 within US, the immigration visa application will be void. So, if you still live Canada, you may just wait for the pending visa
