助動員國會參眾議員通過有關H-1B的新法案以解決H-1B名額問題。
Congress has reconvened for a short but intense lame duck session that will
focus on several issues including passing an omnibus budget bill. It is
crucial for us to continue contacting our Senators and Representatives to
help ensure that H-1B and H-2B fixes are included in that measure. Votes
could be taken as early as this Friday. Here's what needs to be done:
SUPPORT INCREASED ACCESS TO H-1Bs: You, your employers and your friends
should contact key Members of Congress along with your own Senators and
Representatives. Contact these Members of Congress through the Congressional
Switchboard, 202-224-3121.
Urge the following Members of Congress to support amendments to the omnibus
bill that would increase U.S. employers' access to H-1B visas by exempting
from the cap graduates of U.S. universities with advanced degrees. Be sure
to let them know that this fix also would provide needed funding to USCIS
and help keep America's economy vibrant and competitive.
