父親與美國公民結婚,　於２００７年獲得綠卡.　但一直未申請公民.　與前妻生的兒子現在美國讀大學.　還有２個月就滿２１歲了.請問：
１．　父親現在開始申請公民,　要多久才能拿到?
-It is impossible for him to get the US citizenship before his child reaches 21-year birth date.

２．公民為超過２１歲的成年子女申請綠卡,　有排期限製嗎？　
-Yes.
若有是多久?
-About 7 years for unmarried child; and about 11 years for married child.

３．　如果父親現在以綠卡身份為兒子（未成年)申請綠卡,　要等多久?
-The child will be > 21 before the priority date is current (it is impossible in two months). So, he can not be 未成年 anymore.

如果在等待期間父親同時申請公民,　等他拿到公民時再以公民身份為兒子申請綠卡（那時兒子可能已經超過２１歲).那麽這個申請是屬於未成年子女還是成年子女？
