What kind of the H-1 you applied for, Cap-subjected or non-cap H-1? If it is cap-subjected (e.g. you work in a company), you can continue to work until Oct. 1 (talk to your school). If it is non-cap (e.g. you work in a university), you need to stop working when your OPT expires, or you may use premium processing to get the H-1 approval in 15 days and continue to work.
