我剛來到現在的單位一年，學校剛剛著手開始給我辦綠卡，在辦綠卡的過程裏，萬一被laid off，會
 發生什麽事情？如果在必須走人之前（一年後），找到了新職位，那麽是不是身份問題到了新單位整個程序要重
 新辦起？
-If your I-485 pending is for > 180 days before you change your job, you do not do anything and the green card application is valid as long as the new job is in the same/similar field as the old one. Otherwise, need to do anything all over again. If your I-140 is approved, but not file I-485 when you change job, you can keep the priority date as the future new I-140 priority date.
