AP

I once asked our school official on AP and she said, if you travel to china, when you come back, you can either use AP, or go to US embassy to get H1B visa.
She said if you get H1B visa from embassy, it is fine. But if you didnot get or just use AP to come back, you lost your H1B status, and instead, you are I485-pending (I am filing 140 and 485 together). If your 140 is rejected, your 485 will be rejected, and you have to leave U.S.

So she asked me to think twice if I want to use AP.
