請教: May I please consult you on the following questions?
Two adults reenter with EAD/AP combo card, but one pre-school kid (born in U.S.) should be able to use his American passport.
Question #1: On our departure for China, each just goes aboard with our own passports (Chinese for adults, American for the kid), am I correct? But the two adults submit the I-94 cards after we fill the infor on the back side by ourselves?
-Your child need to get the 旅行證 from a Chinese Consulate in US to travel to China. Your child need to show 旅行證 to enter China and show both 旅行證 and his/her US passport to leave China, and then show his/her US passport to enter US.
See this website for 旅行證 application:

Question #2: For reentry, are we all going with the Visitor line, or at least one adult goes with the resident line along with the kid?
Question #3: After return, is it okay if we wish to maintain our H1b/H-4 status (for the same employer, to expire in fall 2015), but will NOT renew H1b/H4 until next spring?
-Right.
Our AP will expire next April or May.

Would you kindly indicate if any or each is needed for the reentry?
