140在三月二十六日批準，隨後準備485的提交。今天突然收到律師的email,原文是：on your EB1A approval notice, why does it indicate consulate processing? did you select that one on your I140 form?
現在看到我們的notice上有句話，但我不太明白，原文是：The above petition has been approved. We have sent it to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC), 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909.  NVC processes all appropriate consulates to complete visa processing. the NVC will then forward the approved petition to that consulate.
我的理解是：我是J簽證，它是不是需要去核實這個信息啊？我這算批了還是算沒批啊？

-It seems You selected Part 4. 1.a. in the I-140 which means you will go to China to apply for the immigration visa, not file I-485 in US. So USCIS forwarded your approved I-140 to NVC to process for your immigration visa in China. You should have select Part. 4. 1.b..

Now my suggestion to you is that you just file I-485 as usual. Then, when NVC contact you (they will contact you some time later), you just reply to NVC that you have filed I-485 adjustment of status within US, and will not apply for the immigration visa in China, and ask them to stop processing your case in NVC.
