J1要求有waiver,有2個理解,第一個是你所說的回原住地服務2年,第2個是防止外國人在美國公司之間利用J簽證傳送新技術.後者才是美國人關心的.等你離開美國2年以後,J1曆史就算清掉了.申請H-1B不會有大問題.

Certain exchange visitors (J-1) are subject to a two-year home-country physical presence requirement which requires you to return to your home country for at least two years at the end of your exchange visitor program. 這個擔心是多餘的.看樣子你全家不打算回國住2年.那就在加拿大住2年.先把美國人擔心的2年J1時限解決了,再去搞WAIVER以解決原住地限製,應該不難.關鍵的關鍵是搞定雇主,有雇傭信什麽都好辦.移民局相信雇主,為雇主服務.

我覺得你入加籍後可以分2步走,先弄TN,因為TN容易,H-1B 難.TN是CBP邊防的人辦理,是他們的副業,這些人對移民法還沒有你熟悉.以後再從TN換到H-1B.
