今天突然收到HR的信，通知我們兒子在二十一歲後將不能再使用J2簽證。現在的問題是：兒子所在大學告之在境內換身份需要半年時間（來不及了），可不可以交了申請就在境內等待？
-Have you get the waiver yet (your son get the J-2 waiver with you)? If yes, then  he can file the application of change of status before he turns 21th birthdate and stay in US. Ask the school to issue the I-20 and help for filing I-539 application for status change. If you do not have J-1 waiver yet or if  your son has turned 21 years old before he files I-539, he needs to go to China to get the F-1 visa to come back.

如果不行，我們隻能選擇境外轉換。但我們都在美國，兒子轉F1會不會被以有移民傾向而被拒簽啊，怎麽樣才能避免悲劇發生？
-If your son has not filed I-485 yet, he will not be considered to have immigration intent. If he has filed I-485, he does not need F-1 anymore and just stay and study in US and wait for the green card.
