給持有綠卡的父親申請Re-entry Permit（I-131)已經快3個月了，期間經曆了未收到打指紋的通知，給移民局打電話後才約1月初打的指紋，現在case status 仍然是initial review. 因父親辦Re-entry Permit的初衷就是回國照顧在國內生病的母親，沒有想到這麽不順利。
請問8老師，如果指紋已經打好了，是不是我父親就可以離開美國了？

還是他必須等到Re-entry Permit正式批下來？
-Not necessary. You can mail the approved RP to him after you receive it. Had better use registered mail so that you can track the mail in case it is lost.
